IPTS 2024 brought together a range of stakeholders in the digital domain and provided an opportunity for networking as well as for exploring mutually beneficial G2B (government-to-business) and B2B (business-to-business) partnerships. The event showcased innovative digital products and solutions from India’s vibrant digital ecosystem, focusing on three key sectors of agriculture, finance, and health.
The event was attended by agri-tech, fin-tech, and health-tech companies, including unicorns/start-ups from India that have developed innovative digital products and solutions, Filipino government agencies and businesses considering digitalization incentives and projects.
High-level representatives from Indian and Philippine Governments, industry and thought leaders, and members of Chambers of Commerce and the event's media partners were also present.
IPTS began with a welcome address from the Indian Ambassador to the Philippines, H.E. Shambhu S. Kumaranan. He emphasized the strong ties between India and the Philippines, highlighting our shared values and booming economies, especially in the run-up to the 75th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year. Trade has exceeded $3 billion, driven by initiatives like India’s Act East Policy and innovative technologies, such as digital technology.
The expo area buzzed with a vibrant exchange of ideas and business card, featuring booths where various companies showcased products and solutions, while also offering space for participants to connect and collaborate.
