Lady drug pusher caught in Silay City drug bust

BACOLOD CITY â€“ Police nabbed a 58-year-old drug pusher and seized 163 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1.1 million in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City, Negros Occidental on Friday, March 1.

The suspect was apprehended after she sold a sachet of shabu worth P12,000 to a police poseur-buyer.

Police Lt. Col. Mark Anthony Darroca, Silay police chief, said the suspect had been under surveillance and allegedly the source of illegal drugs in Talisay City and this city.

Appropriate charges are being prepared against the suspect who was tagged as a high-value individual.

Police Brig. Gen. Jack Wanky, Police Regional Office (PRO)-Western Visayas chief, cited arresting police officers for their vigilance and dedication.
