Hot, humid weather to be expected in the coming days --- PAGASA
The northeast monsoon may begin to gradually weaken in areas of Northern Luzon based on the three-day weather outlook of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Saturday, March. 2.

In the latest live broadcast, weather specialist Daniel James Villamil said the northeast monsoon, locally known as "amihan" still prevails in Northern Luzon, but hot and humid weather may be felt in the next three days, as "amihan" will begin to weaken.
The northeast monsoon is still expected to prevail in area of Northern Luzon, but we expect a gradual weakening of amihan in the following days, in area of Northern Luzon, hot and humid weather will gradually be felt, still generally fair weather conditions, and chances of thunderstorm activity are becoming high in the afternoon until night)," Villamil said.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with light rains, while Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to "amihan" in the next 24 hours.
Moreover, the easterlies or the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean may bring Metro Manila and the rest of the country partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, said PAGASA.
It warned the public of flash floods or landslides that may occur in the affected areas during severe thunderstorms.
From March 3 to 5, the actual air temperatures in some key areas are as follows: Metro Manila (23°C to 33°C); Baguio City (15°C to 24°C); Legazpi City (24°C to 32°C); Davao City (24°C to 33°); Cebu City (25°C to 32°C); Iloilo City (25°C to 32°C); Tacloban City (25°C to 32°C); Cagayan de Oro (25°C to 31°C); and Zamboanga (24°C to 34°C).
