PDEA nabs 4 drug pushers, dismantles drug den

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) arrested four suspected drug pushers and dismantled a drug den in a buy-bust operation here on Tuesday, March 19.

PDEA said the suspects were considered high-value targets.

The suspects John, Jerome, Mark, and Michael had been under surveillance and tested positive for drugs during their arrest.

Seized from them were six grams of suspected shabu and one gram of suspected marijuana dried leaves, assorted drug paraphernalia, four cellular phones, and marked money.

“We are committed to doing everything we can to disrupt illegal drug problems in the region and prevent the exploitation of the most vulnerable people in our communities,” PDEA-Region 2 Director Levi S. Ortiz said.

Suspects face drug-related charges.
