DOLORES, Quezon – The body of a suspected thief was found tied to a coconut tree on Sunday morning, March 17, in Sitio Ilagaya, Barangay Putol, this town.

Barangay councilor Manny delos Reyes informed police at around 8:50 a.m. that a body was found in the far-flung sitio.
Police proceeded to the area and found the victim wearing a yellow T-shirt and blue short pants and his arms were tied to a coconut tree with a cardboard sign hanging on his body that said “Bawal ang Magnanakaw” (Thieves are prohibited).
Lawmen are conducting follow-up investigation.
