'A giant leap': Sandro's solar studs project is all about sustainability

The project is a sustainable approach to illuminating the local Airport Road at night, for the added safety of his kakailians.

"Celebrating the inauguration of solar studs along Airport Road in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. A small step towards a more sustainable future, but a giant leap for our community’s commitment to renewable energy. Agbiag, Distrito Uno! ✌🏻" Rep. Marcos wrote on Facebook Monday, March 18, to mark the happy occasion.

That quite perfectly sums up the wisdom behind the solar studs, from a person whose family has always been energy conscious.

Rep. Marcos is the senior deputy majority in the House of Representatives.
