Laborer killed in motorcycle-van collision

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan – A laborer died in a collision between a motorcycle and a van in Barangay 2, Enrile, Cagayan on Sunday night, March 17.

Police Capt. Precil Morales, Enrile deputy chief of police, said victim John Paul Telan, 22, of Santa Maria, Isabela, was on his way home driving a motorcycle under the influence of liquor when he encroached on the lane and collided with an oncoming van.

The victim sustained serious body injuries and died before reaching the hospital.

The van driver, John Rico Aggarao, 32, was unhurt and is under police custody.
