Beat the heat: Antipolo LGU installs fans in public schools
To ensure the health and welfare of its public school students especially amid the ongoing El Niño phenomenon, the Antipolo City local government on Monday, March, 18, installed over 2,000 orbit ceiling fans in seven public schools in the city.

The seven recipient schools included Tanza Elem. School, Bagong Nayon II Elem. School, Peace Village Elem. School, Inuman Elem. School, Bagong Nayon II Natl High School, and Bagong Nayon IV Elem. School.
Antipolo City Mayor Jun Ynares said the newly-built school buildings will also be installed with over 600 orbit ceiling fans or four fans per classroom.
Aside from the orbit fans, the city government continues its efforts in mitigating the adverse effects of El Niño to its students with the installation of numerous drinking fountains in public schools.
