2 men arrested for stealing motorcycle at birthday party in Sampaloc

Two men were arrested on Sunday, March 17, after stealing a motorcycle at a birthday party in Sampaloc, Manila.
The Manila Police District (MPD) identified the suspects as Noel Ceyenong, 45, and Constantino Josue, 55, both residents of Sampaloc, Manila.
Investigation disclosed that on Saturday, March 16, the drunk victim was about to head home at around 3 a.m. from a birthday party when he noticed that his motorcycle had gone missing.
Police said the victim was too drunk and tired so he decided to go home first and rest.
On Sunday, the victim went to the MPD Lacson precinct to report the incident.
Policemen were dispatched to conduct a follow-up operation in the area where the motorcycle was last seen.
Investigators said a female witness saw the two men who took the motorcycle, which led to the arrest of the suspects.
Ceyenong was charged for violation of Republic Act 10883 or “New Anti-Carnapping Law” (motornapping), while Josue for violation of Presidential Decree 1612 or “Anti-Fencing Law."
