The local governments of Caloocan, Navotas, and Valenzuela Cities were set to open ‘Kadiwa’ pop-up stores in their areas.

In Caloocan City, a Kadiwa store opens at Barangay 14, Langaray Public Market from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. The store will remain open until tomorrow, March 17, during the same hours.
Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan encourages the public to support these stores offering affordable and high-quality products, emphasizing the importance of backing local farmers and workers.
“Bumili na ng mga de-kalidad na produkto sa abot kayang halaga, bilang suporta at tulong sa ating mga kababayang magsasaka at manggagawa (Purchase quality products at affordable prices as a support and assistance to our fellow farmers and workers),” he said.

In Navotas City, the local government initiated a Kadiwa store which started last Thursday, March 14, and will continue until March 27 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The store is located at Navotas Central Park beside the Navotas Police Station.

Also, the Valenzuela city government will host a Kadiwa pop-up store from March 19 to March 20, from 7 a.m., to 5 p.m.

This event will take place at the Sitio Kabatuhan covered court, in Barangay Gen. T. De Leon.
These Kadiwa pop-up stores offer a variety of goods including fruits, vegetables, dried and smoked fish, eggs, rice, dairy products, and processed products.
The program aims to provide the residents access to locally produced goods at reasonable prices, especially amidst the current high inflation rates.
These shops enable farmers to sell their produce directly to consumers, bypassing middlemen and reducing costs.
