Negros Occidental public elementary school receives new building
The municipal government of Toboso in Negros Occidental recently turned over a newly constructed school building to the Amparado Elementary School in Barangay General Luna, Toboso.

Major Mervin Rosal, 303rd Infantry Brigade civil military operations officer, said that P4 million was allocated by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) through the Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) for the construction of a three-classroom school building.
Former Mayor now Councilor Richard Jaojoco turned over the key of responsibilities to Ivy Anquillano, school principal, in a ceremony witnessed by the 303rd IBde, 79th Infantry Battalion (IB), teachers, and barangay officials on March 8.
Lt. Col. Alfredo San Agustin Jr., 303rd IBde executive officer, who represented Brig. Gen. Orlando Edralin, 303rd IBde commander, underscored the importance of education in the development of society.
“The new school building will provide the students a modern and conducive learning environment,” San Agustin said.
He added that the additional classrooms will accommodate more students and enhance their overall educational experience in school.
San Agustin thanked the municipal government led by Mayor Madonnah Jaojoco for facilitating this project and also those who helped this materialize.
