"(G)I-DLE and Jennifer Lopez's collaboration single 'This Time Around (feat. (G)I-DLE)' was released simultaneously on various domestic and international music sites at midnight on March 15,“ said Cube Entertainment, the girl groups’ agency.

(G)I-DLE recreated a fresher and more dynamic version by adding a unique voice, delicate singing ability, and trendy rapping to the iconic style of Lopez.

In particular, leader Soyeon also participated in the topline work and impressed domestic and foreign listeners by demonstrating her musical ability that crosses the boundaries of pop, R&B, and K-pop.

In addition, (G)I-DLE released a lyric video through Jennifer Lopez's official YouTube channel on March 15.

After previously collaborating with artists such as Alan Walker and Anne-Marie, (G)I-DLE once again attempted a groundbreaking collaboration.

Meanwhile, (G)I-DLE recently entered a total of six Billboard charts, including the Billboard 200, with their second full-length album “2” released in January.
