The International Container Terminal Service, Inc.'s (ICTSI) flagship terminal Manila International Container Terminal (MICT) announced that it has recently handled one of its largest container cargos.
The 50 million twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) cargo from MV Seabreeze, operated by Ocean Network Express (ONE), was unloaded at the MICT.
The shipment is owned by HRD Singapore PTE Ltd.

Witnessing it's arrival at the port terminal were ICTSI Executive Vice Presiden Christian Gonzales and ONE Philippines Jose Juan Lacson.
MICT has long been leading in the Philippine port industry since it began operations at the Port of Manila in 1988 under ICTSI in a 25 plus 25-year concession contract.
To improve its services and expand its capacity, ICTSI announced in May last year that it will build a P15 billion another berth to the MICT.
With the added berth, the MICT will be able to service foreign ultra container vessels of up to 18,000 TEUs, make another 400 meters of quay along with 12 hectares of yard space that will bring an additional annual capacity of 200,000 TEUs.
The expansion of the terminal contributed to the $336.32 million capital expenditures (capex) recorded by ICTSI for the full year of 2023.
