Drug pusher caught with P884,000 shabu

MALASIQUI, Pangasinan – A suspected drug pusher was arrested and shabu worth P884,000 was seized during the implementation of a search warrant here on Wednesday, March 13.

Police identified the suspect as Kenneth John, 33, considered a high-value individual in the illegal drugs trade.

Recovered from the suspect were 130 grams of suspected shabu valued at P884,000 in seven heat-sealed transparent sachets, drug paraphernalia, and cellular phones.

The search warrant for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 dated March 11, 2024 was issued by Judge Mervin Jovito S. Samadan, executive judge, Regional Trial Court Branch 40, Dagupan City, Pangasinan.

It was implemented by the Pangasinan Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit with the Malasiqui police.

The suspect was taken into custody by lawmen and pieces of drug and non-drug evidence were brought to the police forensic unit in Lingayen, Pangasinan for laboratory examination.
