Yes, there is such a thing as compassion fatigue and it happens when you care too much. Physical fatigue, increased apathy toward people or things you care about, feelings of helplessness, irritability, and a tendency to isolate are some of the signs. This is one aspect of a woman’s well-being Glorietta hopes to bring attention to in its Women’s Month campaign.

Happening this weekend, March 15 to 17, 2024, “How She Blooms: A Tribute to Thriving Women” aims to empower women with a plethora of caring, thoughtful, and empowering activities, as well as retail surprises that are focused on helping women thrive in heart, body, and mind. And a woman certainly can’t thrive when her mental health cup is running on empty, or in this case, is fatigued.

As part of the initiatives, attendees can anticipate learning effective practices to identify and address the symptoms, providing insights on bouncing back from compassion fatigue. Glorietta, together with leading mental health app and organization, Mind You is hosting a free coffee and therapy group session with Mind You’s resident psychologist, Rea Celine Villa, leading the discussion on March 16, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Palm Drive Activity Center. The session is complimentary and includes coffee and pastries, emphasizing Glorietta and Mind You's shared goal to reach and create a supportive and safe space for women. Seats are limited and registration for the coffee and therapy group session will be at the Palm Drive Activity Center starting on March 15.
With the societal expectation of women as the primary caregivers in all aspects, this is a talk not to be missed. In anticipation of a broad audience, Glorietta is offering 10 percent discount vouchers to 100 customers for sessions booked through the Mind You app, and 10 sessions completely free. Drop by the Mind You wellness lounge at the Palm Drive Activity Center from March 15 to 17 and make sure you’re registered on both the Zing and Mind You apps to avail of these sought-after Mind You app mental health sessions.

Apart from mental health, physical and emotional health are also integral facets of a woman’s overall wellness. As such, Glorietta has Pound workout sessions every 10 a.m. on March 15, 16, and 17. Slots are limited, so make sure to sign up early.
For those seeking a creative outlet, Glorietta is hosting art sessions with Art Nook, requiring only a single receipt worth P1500 from any Glorietta merchant (excluding groceries) for participation. From March 16 to 17, between 1:00 to 7 p.m., attendees can express themselves on canvas and alleviate stress through artistic expression.

In addition, a special workshop on Young Living essential oils will take place on March 17 at 4 p.m. Delve into the natural and holistic approach to self-care, and learn about various essential oils, their application, and their therapeutic benefits.
A woman can thrive and bloom wherever she is planted, truly, and Glorietta hopes to help every woman flourish by nourishing her mind, heart, and body.
