Calling all coffee lovers! Here's what to expect at Manila Coffee Festival 2024
A three-day celebration of Filipino coffee culture and art
In the Philippines, coffee is not just a beverage; it's a beloved part of the culture, history, and daily routine. With a rich tradition dating back centuries, coffee holds a special place in the hearts of Filipinos.
In celebration of Filipino coffee culture and art, the Manila Coffee Festival 2024 is back with a plethora of coffee-related events. The festival offers talks by coffee experts, cultural performances, art displays, and more at the Marriott Grand Ballroom’s MGBX Convention Hall.
From March 15 to 17, Newport World Resorts will host "KapeTalks" as part of the Manila Coffee Festival. This series of talks aims to celebrate Philippine coffee culture and nature. It's a chance for coffee lovers to connect with growers, makers, and environmental advocates over three days of discussions and coffee enjoyment.

Unveiling the richness of coffee and creativity
Kingson Sian, President and CEO of Newport World Resorts, will headline "KapeTalks," discussing coffee's significance to the country's culture, history, and tourism. Other speakers include environmental advocate Howie Severino, culinary heritage advocate Dr. Kathleen Apilado, and Mambabatok Ammin Acha-ur, sharing the ancient tradition of indigenous tattooing.
The event also showcases local music and art talent. The "Performance Theatre" hosts performances by OPM stars like Jikamarie, Leanne & Naara, and Rangel daily at 5 PM.
Additionally, the "Muralista Competition" features eight groups painting murals based on this year's theme: Dreams of Coffee & Wine. Using coffee and wine as paint, artists have a day and a half to complete their murals, with winners announced on March 16.
