Drug suspect arrested in Pasay City

A 46-year-old man was arrested by members of the Pasay City police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in possession of P38,060.00 shabu on Wednesday, March 13.

Col. Mario Mayames, Pasay City police chief, said the suspect, identified as alias Kuya, was arrested at around 7:45 p.m. along F. Munoz St., Barangay 43, Zone 6, Pasay City.

Mayames said members of the PDEA coordinated with the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) for the conduct of a buy-bust operation for the arrest of Kuya who was listed as street level individual (SLI).

He said confiscated from the suspect were about 5.6 grams of shabu worth P38,060, one black cellular phone, and the P500 buy-bust money.

The city police chief said the suspect is now detained at the police custodial facility and was charged for illegal possession of drugs.
