ARTA 60% done with report card survey rating government agencies' quality of service
Almost 60 percent of the target government agencies have been covered by the report card survey of the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) which rates the agencies' quality of service.

According to ARTA Secretary Ernesto Perez, they have already completed around 60 percent of the 860 target government agencies for the report card survey.
He said the agency aims to complete it by July, before President Marcos' State of the Nation Address (SONA).
"[M]alapit na po tayong maglabas ng ating result by July. As of February 29, almost 60 percent na na-cover natin nationwide na mga agencies, 860 national government agencies, including local government units, na na-subject natin sa report card survey (We are close to releasing the result by July. As of February 29, almost 60 percent of agencies nationwide out of the 860 national government agencies, including local government units, have been covered by the report card survey)," Perez said in a television interview.
Perez added that they are also aiming to release the partial result of the survey in time for the President's SONA in July.
"Hopefully, by July ma-complete na ang survey but ang target natin sana po mayroon tayong partial result before the SONA of the President so that we can also mention and recognize those LGUs and national government agencies na naging compliant din po sa Ease-of-Doing Business Law (Hopefully, by July, we are able to complete the survey but our target is to get the partial result before the SONA of the President so that we can also mention and recognize those LGUs and national government agencies compliant din po sa Ease-of-Doing Business Law)," Perez said.
The ARTA chief emphasized that the report card survey, which evaluates the service of government offices nationwide by getting the feedback from the transacting public, is a good opportunity for both the public and the government.
"Napakaganda po kasi nito dahil mabibigyan po ng pagkakataon iyong ating mga mamamayan na nagkaroon ng experience sa kanilang transaksiyon sa any government agency para i-report or rate the kind of service that they got (This is good because the people transacting with the government are given the chance to report or rate the kind of service that they got)," Perez said.
"At the same time, ito naman ay paalala sa ating mga government agencies na sila po ay niri-rate din ng ating taumbayan sa pamamagitan ng pag-fill-up ng survey form. So it’s a two-way process. Sana po ay malaman ng ating mga kababayan ang kahalagahan ng report card survey na ito (this also serves as a reminded to our government agencies that they are being rated by the people through the survey form. It's a two-way process. We hope our fellowmen know the importance of this report card survey)," he added.
The official said aside from commendation, the top 10 high-scoring agencies will also receive cash reward, which aims to encourage more agencies to improve their services.
