Brooke Van Sickle unleashed her might on all departments by erupting for 26 points built on 20 kills, three blocks and three aces for the Angels, who stretched their winning run to three games and hiked their win-loss tally to 4-1.

The win put Petro Gazz half a game behind pacesetter Creamline, which carries a 4-0 mark.

Jonah Sabete also stepped on the gas for the Angels by unloading 11 points highlighted by nine attacks, while skipper Remy Palma and Joy Dacoron conspired for 11 points.

Petro Gazz coach Koji Tsuzurabara lauded Farm Fresh's efforts particularly in the second set, where they were challenged particularly in the defensive department.

"I appreciate the Farm Fresh team. It wasn't an easy game," said Tsuzurabara.

After directing the tempo in the opening set, Petro Gazz found itself losing steam as it trailed Farm Fresh for most parts of the second frame.

The Foxies were looking at tying the match with a 24-21 lead, but Van Sickle and Sabete sizzled with down-the-line attacks as the Angels snared the set win.

From there, Petro Gazz resumed its dominance over Farm Fresh as it took a 12-8 lead in the third and never looked back.

Andrea Cruz was the lone bright spot for the Foxies after posting 11 points as hard-hitting Trisha Tubu and Chinnie Arroyo were held to eight and six points.

The loss -- its third in five outings -- kept Farm Fresh in the middle standings.
