ANGELES CITY, Pampanga – The Police Regional Office-3 (Central Luzon) is investigating a demolition activity that injured seven individuals in Barangay Anunas here on Tuesday, March 12.

“Our primary focus is on the safety and well-being of all individuals affected by this unfortunate event," the PRO-3 said.
Progressive groups Peasant Watch Central Luzon and Karapatan Central Luzon claimed that some members of the demolition team deployed by a real estate firm allegedly opened fire at residents.
Police personnel will undergo paraffin test while their firearms will be subjected to ballistic examination.
The injured were given medical assistance.
The PRO-3 said the real situation will be assessed to understand the circumstances that led to these injuries.
“We are committed to cooperating with relevant authorities and conducting a transparent investigation into the matter,” added the PRO-3 that assured that they will address the aftermath of the incident and provide support to those affected.
Two individuals were arrested for illegal possession of firearms during the demolition and are facing charges for frustrated homicide and violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition.
