Parañaque LGU opens 'City Athletic Meet'

A total of 1,500 athletes from public and private schools in the city joined the opening of the “2024 City Athletic Meet” on Tuesday, March 12, in Parañaque City.

Parañaque Mayor Eric Olivarez and Congressman Edwin Olivarez attended the opening of the athletic meet with the theme “Atletang Parañaqueño: Matatag at Disiplinado” held at the Parañaque City Sports Complex.

He said the sports competition was spearheaded by the Department of Education (DepEd) National Capital Region (NCR) Schools Division of Parañaque City under Dr. Nerissa L. Losaria,

The mayor said the delegates who will emerge as champions will be the city’s representatives to the NCR Palaro to be held in Caloocan City.
