P65-M undocumented e-cigarettes seized in Laguna

SAN PABLO CITY, Laguna – Police seized undocumented e-cigarettes worth P65 million in a warehouse in Purok 6, Barangay Bautista, this city, on Monday night, March 11.

Lawmen nabbed two individuals – Allan and Regan – for illegally selling these e-cigarettes without authority from the manufacturer.

Seized from them were 1,029 boxes of assorted e-cigarettes with an estimated market value of P65 million.

Police said the warehouse was raided following information from a resident about the presence of contraband there.

Suspects are in the custody of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Laguna for further investigation and case disposition.  

Police were accompanied during the raid by the Bureau of Internal Revenue here.
