Over 300K worth of shabu seized in Caloocan, Navotas, Valenzuela buy-bust ops

The Northern Police District (NPD) seized a total of P324,428 worth of shabu and arrested six suspects in a series of buy-bust operations in Caloocan, Navotas, and Valenzuela cities.

In the first operation, members of the Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS) conducted a foot patrol at around 4:40 p.m., on Tuesday, March 12, along 1st Avenue, Barangay 120, Caloocan City, when they noticed the two suspects smoking in a public place.
When the police officers approached the suspects to issue of a citation ticket, they fled but were later apprehended.
Operatives were able to confiscate five plastic sachets that contained 25 grams of shabu worth P170,000.
Meanwhile, operatives from the Valenzuela City Police Station (VCPS) conducted a buy-bust operation along S. Bautista St., Mapulang Lupa, Valenzuela City, at around 2:35 a.m., on Wednesday, March 13.
VCPS members arrested one male suspect and confiscated 15 grams of shabu worth P102,000, a black coin purse, and the buy-bust money.
The Navotas City Police Station (NCPS) also conducted a buy-bust operation along Badeo St., Barangay San Roque, Navotas City at around 1:57 a.m., on Wednesday, March 13.
Authorities seized 7.71 grams of shabu worth P52,428 and arrested three suspects.
Police withheld the names of the six arrested suspects who are set to be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, police said.
