Maynilad recently unveiled a commemorative manhole cover that the company is installing in public locations in Muntinlupa.
The commemorative manhole was unveiled during Muntinlupa's 29th cityhood anniversary and was led by Maynilad Chief Operating Officer Randolph Estrellado and Muntinlupa City officials led by Mayor Ruffy Biazon, Vice Mayor Artemio Simundac, Rep. Jaime Fresnedi, and Councilor Ting Niefes.

The manhole cover was designed to honor the rich history and identity of Muntinlupa City as a fisheries hub, especially in the old times when Laguna de Bay was the main source of livelihood for its residents.
Maynilad is installing 35 pieces of the manhole covers in various locations within the city.
Mayor Biazon expressed his appreciation for the project, saying that it is a tribute to the strong partnership between Maynilad and the City of Muntinlupa.
"Let us all do our share in taking good care of the commemorative manholes installed in our city," he said
Maynilad has been producing limited pieces of decorative manhole covers to imbue more aesthetic appeal to the urban landscape and help revive tourism.
In 2022, the water company installed several decorative manhole covers around Luneta Park in Manila to provide an added attraction to the iconic park.
