Cops hunt down 2 suspects who mauled to death a call center agent in Pasig
Members of the Pasig City police are hunting down two suspects who mauled to death a call center agent in Pasig City.
Authorities said one of the suspects is reportedly a member of the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) community, while the other suspect was a 21-year-old man.
Prior to the victim's death, who was also a member of the LGBT community, he and the suspects, together with two other individuals, were having a drinking session in Barangay Pineda, Pasig, last March 2.
During their drinking session, police said that the suspects and the victim entered into a heated argument which led to the mauling incident.
Police said the suspects reportedly strangled and mauled the victim. The witnesses tried to pacify the suspects which gave the victim the opportunity to go home.
However, on March 5, police said that the victim's mother reported that the victim was experiencing vomiting and was rushed to the hospital.
On March 7, the victim was declared dead due to external injuries and intracranial hemorrhage.
Police said that a homicide case was filed against the suspects who are now the subjects of a hot pursuit operation.
