Caraga's 4th, 9th most wanted persons nabbed

CAMP COL. RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – Police arrested two top most wanted persons in the Caraga region in Surigao del Sur on Monday, March 11.

Police Regional Office-13 Director Police Brig. Gen. Kirby John B. Kraft identified the suspects as Kirk, the No. 4 MWP, and Renan, the No. 9 MWP.

Kirk’s warrant for rape and acts of lasciviousness was issued by the Regional Trial Court (RTC), 11th Judicial Region, Branch 14 Family Court, Bislig City, Surigao del Sur. The suspect allegedly sexually abused a 17-year-old girl in July 2022.

The warrant of arrest for Renan was issued by the RTC, 11th Judicial Regional, Branch 40, Tandag City, Surigao del Sur. Renan allegedly sexually assaulted a 17-year-old student on September 10, 2023, in Barangay San Isidro, Tandag City.

Kraft lauded the arrest of the two suspects. “The arrest of these suspects displays the strong commitment of PNP-Caraga in giving justice to the victims and in safeguarding the people, especially the women and the children, from the threats of these criminals,” Kraft said in a statement on Wednesday, March 13.
