The Quezon City Police District (QCPD)announced the arrest of two most wanted persons in the city on Monday, March 11.
The Fairview Police Station (PS 5) arrested Gladys Castro, 37, a resident of Barangay Greater Fairview, at around 6:30 p.m. at on Pearl St. in East Fairview.
Castro has a standing warrant of arrest for violation of Republic Act 91655 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 issued by Judge Rosalia I. Hipolito-Bunagan of Branch 127, Regional Trial Court (RTC), National Capital Judicial Region, Caloocan City.
Meanwhile, the Kamuning Police Station (PS 10) nabbed Christian Jay Ferrer, of Brgy. Arkong Bato, Valenzuela City, by virtue of warrants of arrest to two counts of violation of R.A. 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act issued by the Judge of Branch 78, RTC, Quezon City.
“I commend the efforts of our operatives for the successful arrests of these Most Wanted Persons. Ang pagkakahuli sa kanila ay patunay lamang na ang ating kapulisan dito sa Quezon City ay agresibo upang matugis at mapanagot ang mga lumalabag sa batas,” QCPD director Police Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan said.
