Mandaluyong City gov't launches single ticketing system

The city government of Mandaluyong launched the Single Ticketing System(STS) on Monday, March 11. 

Present during the event were Mayor Ben Abalos, Vice Mayor Menchie Abalos, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) General Manager Procopio Lipana, Assistant General Manager David Angelo Vargas, and Land Transportation Office (LTO) Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor Mendoza II.

The city will start implementing the single ticketing system that imposes uniform fines for 20 common traffic violations.

A total of 100 body cameras were purchased by the city government and distributed to traffic enforcers.

The body cameras will be used together with the ticketing devices for the transparent implementation of STS.
