Faithful invited to holy masses, confession at Manila Cathedral
The Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (Manila Cathedral) in Intramuros, Manila has released the schedule of holy masses and confessions for the Holy Week.

The faithful are encouraged to attend the masses and to avail of the Sacrament of Confession as part of their spiritual preparation for the Holy Week.
On Palm Sunday, March 24, Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula will celebrate the holy mass at 8 a.m. Masses will also be offered at 10 a.m., 4 p.m. and at 6 p.m.
On March 25, 26 and 27 (Holy Monday, Holy Tuesday and Holy Wednesday), masses will be held by the hour from 7:30 a.m. to 12:10 p.m.
The confessional will be available from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
On Maundy Thursday, March 28, confession schedule is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. until 12 midnight.
On Good Friday, March 29, the faithful may avail of the Sacrament of Confession from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Those who decide to go to confession ahead of the Holy Week, may go to the Manila Cathedral from Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The Manila Cathedral has also released the schedule of activities for the rest of the Holy Week.
Cardinal Advincula will lead the Morning Prayer at 6:30 a.m. on Maundy Thursday to be followed by the Chrism Mass at 7 a.m. His Eminence will also preside over the Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 5 p.m.
On Good Friday, the Stations of the Cross will be held at 9 a.m., the Siete Palabras at 12 noon and the Celebration of the Passion of the Lord to be led by Cardinal Advincula at 3 p.m.
The cardinal will also lead the Easter Vigil mass at 8 p.m. on Black Saturday.
Easter Sunday masses will be celebrated at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 4 p.m. and at 6 p.m.
