LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Police nabbed 15 wanted individuals during manhunt operations in the Cordillera region from March 3 to 9.
Sixty-one municipalities in the area recorded zero crime incidents during that period.
The Police Regional Office-Cordillera said the Baguio City Police Office (CPO) and Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) caught five wanted persons each, followed by the Kalinga PPO with two, and the Abra PPO, Ifugao PPO, and Mountain Province PPO with one arrest each.
Twenty-four towns in Abra logged zero crime incidents, three in Apayao, ten each in Benguet and Ifugao, and seven municipalities each in Kalinga and Mountain Province.
Out of the 10 police stations in Baguio City, the Naguilian Police Station, Legarda Police Station, Aurora Hill Police Station, and Marcos Highway Police Station recorded zero crime incidents.
The PRO-Cordillera said they remain committed to ensuring peace and order through strategic deployment of personnel, intensified police operations, checkpoints, continuous information drives on crime prevention tips, and strengthened partnerships with the community.
