The 24-year-old Lim got a big lift from sports patron Jean Henri Lhuillier as he became one of the ambassadors of the Cebuana Lhuillier Sports.
Aside from international stints, Lim is also being eyed to join three local tournaments in the next few months.
"I always believe that our young talents have what it takes to become world-class players, given the right support and exposure. Cebuana Lhuillier and I will be here for him in his quest to climb the world rankings," said Lhuillier.
Lhuillier added the goal for Lim is to crack the Top 1000, and eventually in the Top 250 in the next few years.
Lim ranked as high as No. 12 in the ITF junior rankings before focusing on his studies particularly during the pandemic. He is currently ranked 1535 in the pros.
After his stint with the Philippine Davis Cup team against the Stefanos Tsitsipas-led Greek squad in 2021, he only returned in 2023 where he competed in two ITF events, and four more this year including the M15 Nakhon Si Thammarat in Thailand late February.
