2 men yield 500K shabu in Binangonan, Rizal

A construction worker and his accomplice are now in police custody after they were caught with half a million worth of suspected shabu on Monday, March 11.

In a report to Rizal Provincial Police Office Director Col. Felipe Marragun, the suspects, identified as a certain Arjay, 31, a construction worker from Binangonan, Rizal; and a certain Nano, 23, of Morong, Rizal, were caught by operatives of the Binangonan Police at COD Compound in Barangay Tayuman around 1:30 am on March 11 during a buy-bust operation.

The arrest of the duo also resulted in the confiscation of eight packs of suspected shabu weighing 82.66 grams with a street value of P562,088.

Police said the suspects, who are both listed as High Value Individuals, are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
