First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos channeled international pop star Taylor Swift in giving her son, Ilocos Norte First District Sandro Marcos, pieces of advice as he marked his 30th birthday on March 7.

In President Marcos' most recent vlog, the First Lady cited passages from the book titled "Be More Taylor," a book based on Swift's life that discusses life lessons, love, friendship, overcoming fears, being yourself, and finding creative inspiration.
One of the passages that the First Lady cited from the book was "Step back from socials," although she doubted that her son would follow it.
Regarding morals, First Lady Liza told the younger Marcos to "say sorry" all the time.
"Mother knows best, say sorry," she said.
The First Lady added that Sandro should not worry when he makes mistakes.
"When you make mistakes, don't worry about it. Because Taylor Swift said, forgive your mistakes," she said.
"Keep trying," she added.
When it comes to relationships, First Lady Liza advised her firstborn to "feel it all."
"Feel it all. The pain, the love, by Taylor Swift," she said.
