Drug den maintainer, 6 patrons busted in Pangasinan

SANTA BARBARA, Pangasinan – A drug den was dismantled and the maintainer and six of his patrons were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Ventinilla here on Monday morning, March 11.

Police identified the suspects as drug den maintainer Henry Meneses Lopez, 37; and customers Joseph Andrew del Prado Reyes, 41; Cosme Jose dela Cruz Echanes, 35; Richard Tinambon Reyes, 22; Evangelyn de Guzman Dudang, 44; Charlene Santiago Macaraeg, 28,  and Mercedita Cendaña Reyes, 30, all residents of this town.

Seized from the suspects were seven heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia.

The operation was conducted by the police in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Region 1 (Ilocos).

Lawmen have yet to determine the value of the illegal drugs.
