Joint forces of the 12th Infantry Battalion (IB), the 82nd IB, and the 602nd Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB)-6 of the Philippine National Police (PNP) extracted the body of Diaz in the mountain barangay following the request of his family.
