Sparkle 10 are the 10 lucky ladies chosen as the Kapuso network's next big bets for stardom who can inspire and empower their fellow Filipinas to be their best selves.

They were presented to the media at a conference at GMA's Studio 7 last week, where they also walked the runway in their selected fashion outfits. The girls proclaimed that they had mixed reactions when they were first informed they would be part of the exclusive group. Their feelings ranged from nervousness to being overwhelmed with joy.

Shuvee -  the girl from Bantayan, Island Cebu who became a TikTok sensation during the pandemic - recalled:  "My initial reaction was kinabahan, of course. A Bisaya like me, sobrang  kaba po na makasama ang nine beautiful empowered ladies. I'm just very grateful to be given the chance to be part of Sparkle 10. This island girl is just happy."

Lexi, who first came into the spotlight as the First Princess of Starstruck 2019, said she felt "surreal." Meanwhile, Lianne - who started as a childhood actress and has a few primetime shows to her belt- bared that she cried when she first saw the giant Sparkle 10 billboard along Timog-EDSA.

"Ang unang pumasok sa isip ko: do I deserve to be part of the Sparkle 10? Am i beautiful ? Ano bang meron sa akin? Everyone around me had to remind me that I'm unique and beautiful in my own way," Lianne remarked.

Ashley - a professional figure skater who displayed her prowess in the TV series "Hearts On Ice" - said she is elated and excited to have found a new circle of friends in Sparkle 10. "What I love about us is yung bonding namin... talagang nagkaroon kami ng bond. When we started shooting, we got to know each other, nag di-dinner kami. Ang saya lang kasi we would always lift each other up, walang inggitan na nagaganap, talagang we support each other!"

Angel, who shot into prominence as the first winner of "Running Man Philippines - agreed that Sparkle 10 is definitely a sisterhood, and their fans and followers who believe in women empowerment are invited to join in the fray. "We're brave and we  all believe that we deserve to be part of Sparkle 10. They saw something in us that's why we're here. Sobrang saya ko and thank you so much."

Miss Universe Philippines 2020 and "Tiktoclock" host Rabiya Mateo said she is proud to be part of a group that is breaking stereotypes in the industry. She commented: "Dati, when we think of a sexy actress yun lang ang kaya nyang i-offer,  but now somebody like Faith na sexy can be a host. Si Ashley can represent the country sa kanyang craft.Maraming manonood sa amin will also feel confident about themselves kasi makikita nila we're different. Me indiviuality kami, but at the same time, inclusive kami. We strive to be fit but we have different bodies, we have different beauties. Dapat marami tayong representation na makita sa TV kasi maraming bata who look up to us na everytime makikita nila kami, they can ensure na someday they can be as successful sa chosen path nila."

Faith believes that the friendship she has developed with the rest of the girls gives her comfort in an otherwise stressful industry. "Most of my fellow members in Sparkle 10, nakatrabaho ko na. We make sure talaga na pag nagkakasama kami we sit down, we talk about life,  at kung ano ang mga goals namin sa career namin."

The statuesque actress expressed hopes that being part of Sparkle 10 will give her a lot of opportunities to evolve as an artist. Aside from hosting, Faith is also slated to join the newest Sang'gres this season. "Ayokong makilala na boxed ako, ayokong eto lang ako kasi kilala ko ang sarili ko. Gusto kong i-try lahat and willing ako to learn and to grow," she closed.
