ILOILO CITY – A government housing project built by the National Housing Authority (NHA) has become the relocation site for victims of a recent fire in Barangay 7, Roxas City, Capiz province.

One-hundred three families have moved into Tanza Ville Subdivision in Barangay Tanza, Roxas City just days after the fire on February 27.
A ceremonial turnover was led by Roxas City Mayor Ronnie Dadivas on March 6.
Dadivas facilitated their transfer by having the Capiz Electric Cooperative (CAPELCO) and the Metro Roxas Water District (MRWD) install electrical and water connections.
They also received financial assistance from the Roxas City government, the Department of Social Welfare and Development-6, Sen. Imee Marcos, Sen. Loren Legarda, and House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Also present during the turnover were Roxas City Vice Mayor Teresa “Inday” Almalbis, Capiz Vice Gov. James “Mitang” Magbanua, USWAG Ilonggo party-list Rep. “James” Jojo Ang Jr., and Paolo Roxas of the Gerry Roxas Foundation.
