The record holder surpassed the required number of 300 dishes, successfully setting the world record for the Philippines.

Guinness Book of Records representative Sonia Ushirogochi said that for a dish to be counted, it should be three kilograms per dish and must be unique from the others.

NatFed Chairman Chester Warren Tan  highlighted the importance of swine in the country, saying “the variety of dishes displayed is proof of how Filipinos love pork, and shows how important the Philippine swine industry is to our nation's food security, food safety, and food sovereignty.”

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte expressed her gratitude for the successful attempt.

“Isang karangalan po sa Lungsod Quezon na pinili niyo kami bilang host city para po sa ating high festival 2024 (It is an honor for Quezon City that you have chosen us as the host city for our high festival in 2024),” she said.

“Mas mahalaga po para sa amin pinili niyo po kami, nagtiwala po kayo sa amin bilang lugar kung saan idaraos ang ating attempt to achieve a world record for cooking the most number of original and unique pork-based dishes (It is important for us that you have chosen us. You trusted us as the place where we will attempt to achieve a world record for cooking the most number of original and unique pork-based dishes),” she added.
