The 61st Infantry Battalion discovered another body during mopping-up operations, that of amazon Rena Rhea Camariosa, alias Ka Kira, on Thursday, February 29.

The 301st Infantry Brigade identified the other casualties as Jonathan Sanogal (alias Ka Jeros), Mario Reovoca (alias Ka Mike and Ka Jaguar), and Patrick Reovoca (alias Ka Kim).

Brig. Gen. Michael Samson, 301st IB commander, said Camariosa was left by her comrades to die following the encounter with the 61st IB in Barangay Torocadan on Wednesday, February 28.

Camariosa is said to be the daughter of Nahum Camariosa, alias Ka Bebong, believed to be leader of the NPA Southern Panay Front Committee in Panay Island.

A wounded amazon, Rocel Esmediana, alias Ka Michelle, surrendered to barangay officials who called the police who took her to the hospital.
