'Smart' of Bea Alonzo to ask for prenup, says Guanzon in reaction to rumor

Asking for a prenuptial agreement is a good move if you're earning more than your partner.

Thus, said P3PWD Party-list nominee Rowena Guanzon as she opined on a juicy tidbit she heard about the break-up of showbiz couple Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque.

"The rumor [is] that Bea wants a pre nuptial agreement. Well, that's smart if she is earning more," Guanzon, a lawyer, said in an X post on Friday, Feb. 9.

Alonzo is the bigger, more established star in the couple. So Guanzon's comment is not a hot take at all.

The Bea-Dominic break-up was first reported as "confirmed" last Feb. 6, or just over a week before Valentine's Day. The news broke the Internet and of course, the hearts of their fans.

It was only in July 2023 when the actress announced their engagement. They reportedly began dating two years prior.
