P95K shabu seized, 3 suspects nabbed in Zambales drug sting

Three drug suspects were arrested and P95,200 worth of shabu was confiscated by authorities during a buy-bust operation inside a makeshift drug den in Subic, Zambales on Thursday, Feb. 8.

The Philippines Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Zambales identified the suspects as Lowie Delos Santos, 38, alleged drug den maintainer; and cohorts Shaira Abellano, 27, and Fernando Dela Cruz, 32.

The three were collared in Purok 3, Barangay Matain after PDEA agents received information from a tipster about their alleged illegal operations.

During the raid at the suspected drug den, the PDEA and local police team confiscated four transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 14 grams of shabu, assorted drug and sniffing paraphernalia; and the buy-bust money.

The seized illegal substances were turned over to the PDEA-3 laboratory for quantitative and qualitative examination.

Delos Santos, Abellano and Dela Cruz face charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
