President Marcos is wishing the British monarch a swift recovery after getting diagnosed with cancer.
In a post on X on Friday, Feb. 9, Marcos sent his well wishes to King Charles III as he began receiving “regular treatments” at the start of the week, according to Buckingham Palace.
“Sending my heartfelt best wishes to King Charles and Queen Camilla,” he said.
“The Philippines is with the United Kingdom in praying for the King's swift and full recovery,” he added.
In May 2023, the President attended the Monarch’s coronation after his mother’s passing.
Marcos wished for King Charles’ “long and happy reign” as he hoped his coronation would “signify the start of a new chapter of peace, progress, and prosperity for the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.”
