CALAX Silang Aguinaldo toll collection starts

MPCALA Holdings Inc., announced that it will begin collecting toll fees at the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange starting Saturday, Feb. 10.

The toll fees, as approved by the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB), cover pathways from Silang (Aguinaldo) as the entry point to five exit points: Silang East, Sana Rosa-Tagaytay, Laguna Boulevard, Laguna Technopark, and Greenfield.

The fees according to vehicle class type are as follows:

  • Silang Exit - P17 (Class 1), P35 (Class 2), and P52 (Class 3)
  • Santa Rosa- Tagaytay - P45 (Class 1), P90 (Class 2), and P136 (Class 3)
  • Laguna Boulevard - P51 (Class 1), P102 (Class 2), and P153 (Class 3)
  • Laguna Technopark - P66 (Class 1), P132 (Class 2), and P199 (Class 3)
  • Greenfield - P81 (Class 1), P163 (Class 2), and P244 (Class 3)

MPCALA also released the update toll fees for other CALAX interchange as shown below:

The Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange serves as a faster route for motorists to reach Cavite, Tagaytay, and Silang. To date, 12,000 vehicles traverse through the interchange daily.

Since Nov. 8, 2023, CALAX has been implementing a free toll for vehicles until further notice.

MPCALA Holdings Inc. President and General Manager Raul L. Ignacio said that the interchange has become vital to the expressway's network.

"The implementation of these toll rates aids in the continuous maintenance and enhancement of our toll road while ensuring efficient and safe travel for our users," remarked Ignacio.

CALAX will soon reach a 45,000 (km) kilometers by 2025, covering all eight interchanges, with ongoing construction of the Governor's Drive, Open Canal, and Kawit Interchange.

Governor's Drive in General Trias, Cavite is expected to be operational by late 2024, and the Open Canal to Kawit Interchange is projected to finish construction by second quarter of 2025.

At present, CALAX's open segments are from Mamplasan Rotunda to Silang (Aguinaldo).
