Not providing loans: PhilHealth warns vs fraudulent website

The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) on Thursday, Feb. 8 warned the public against a fraudulent website that uses its name to offer users a financial loan.

In a post on its official Facebook page, PhilHealth said it only provides immediate benefits and services for its beneficiaries’ medical conditions or surgical procedures, with some outpatient procedures and primary care covered by “PhilHealth Konsulta.”

"Sa mga miyembro, wala pong loan sa PhiliHealth (To all the members, there is no loan in PhilHealth)," it said.

It advised the public to avoid using the website "digido.ph" to obtain a loan through PhilHealth.

PhilHealth urged the public to obtain accurate information by visiting its official website philhealth.gov.ph.

It encouraged the public to also subscribe and follow its social media pages PhilHealthOfficial on Facebook and teamphilhealth on Youtube and X.
