'MayniLove': Manila invites public to celebrate Valentine's Day at Bonifacio Shrine
Manila City Mayor Honey Lacuna-Pangan invited the public to celebrate this love month through their program dubbed “MayniLove 2024” at the Kartilya ng Katipunan or Bonifacio Shrine in Ermita, Manila from Monday, Feb. 12 until Saturday, Feb. 17.

Lacuna said that the celebration of love month in the city, carrying the theme “Memories that last forever", will be extra special and unforgettable since they prepared activities and daily surprises for all who will visit the Kartilya ng Katipunan from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., Monday to Saturday.
The program was supported by the city's permit bureau, headed by Levi Facundo who said that a lucky visitor will have a chance to receive a gift from them.
Facundo added that they will present some special features during the event, such as MayniLove Lock Heart, where visitors, especially couples, can put padlocks in a designated area like the Lock Bridge in Paris that symbolizes "love locked forever".
The city government will also set a 360 camera, which is like a photo booth but spins around; and a Puppy Love stall where pet lovers can buy dogs during the event.
The mayor said that visitors will enjoy the place because there are over 30 merchants who participated to sell various foods and products that are ideal gifts for their loved ones.
Aside from the products that will be sold during the event, the mayor said daily performances will also be conducted to entertain the visitors.
