Miss World Philippines Gwendolyne Fourniol paid a courtesy call to House Speaker Martin Romualdez ahead of her participation in the Miss World pageant in Mumbai, India next month.
The 71st edition of the Miss World pageant will take place on March 9.

Miss World Philippines Gwendolyne Fourniol paid a courtesy call to House Speaker Martin Romualdez ahead of her participation in the Miss World pageant in Mumbai, India next month.

Romualdez received Fourniol at the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

During her visit, the French-born Fourniol received a token as well as words of encouragement and support from the House leader.

The 71st edition of the Miss World pageant will take place on March 9 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

Romualdez is married to Tingog Party-list Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez, a former Miss International beauty pageant contestant. She finished in the top 15 of the 1996 iteration of the pageant.
