Caloocan gov't implements road closure, re-routing for Chinese New Year festivity

The local government of Caloocan City announced on Thursday, Feb 8, the temprorary closure of some roads in the city for the celebration of Chinese New Year.

The city government said that roads that will be closed from 5 p.m on Feb 9 to 2 a.m. on Feb 10 are A. Mabini corner Sangandaan to A. Mabini corner C3, 10th Avenue corner Galauan to A. Mabini Dulo, Torres Bugallon corner General San Miguel to Torres Bugallon corner 10th Avenue, and Libis Espina corner Sabalo to Libis Espina corner A. Mabini.

The motorists are advised to consider the following alternative routes:

All vehicles coming from Maypajo-Sangandaan shall turn right to C3, then turn left to C. Corder St., turn left to 9th Avenue, turn right to D. Aquino, turn left to 10th Avenue, turn right to Heroes Del 96, turn left to Samson Road, and turn right to M.H. Del Pilar straight to the point of destination.

Motorists coming from Maypajo-Sangandaan may also turn left to C3, then turn right to Dagat-Dagatan, turn right to C4, and turn left to M.H. Del Pilar to the point of destination.

Meanwhile, all vehicles coming from Sangandaan-Divisoria shall take a left turn to Samson Road, then turn right to New Abbey Road, turn left to 10th Avenue, then turn right to D. Aquino St., turn right to C3 and turn left to A. Mabini straight to the point of destination.

Motorists from Sangandaan-Divisoria may also turn right to Gen San Miguel St., then turn left to Dagat-Dagatan straight ahead to Dagat-Dagatan C3, turn left to C3 and turn right to A. Mabini to the point of destination.
