45 wanted persons fall in Cordillera

BAGUIO CITY – The Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group arrested 45 wanted persons in the Cordillera region last month.

Police Col. Leo Talleo, CIDG-Cordillera chief, said seven of them were tagged as top most wanted persons – three on the regional level, two on the provincial level, and two on the municipal level.

Talleo said suspects were nabbed in 44 manhunt operations.

Two persons were apprehended after selling loose firearms in line with “Oplan: Paglalansag Omega” and a man was nabbed in an entrapment operation under "Oplan: Olea" for sextortion.
