Woman faces multiple raps for drunk driving, slapping and kicking arresting police officer
CAVITE – A woman who figured in a road accident in Imus City is now facing multiple charges for slapping and kicking a responding police officer who arrested her on Monday, Feb. 5.
The Imus Component City Police Station (CCPS) identified the suspect as alias Armie.
Initial investigation disclosed that alias Armie, while driving a pickup, reportedly hit a sedan along Aguinaldo Highway in Barangay Anabu II-D.
Responding police officers spoke with both parties and asked to see pertinent documents, including their driver's licenses, official receipts, and car registration certificates.
However, the suspect failed to present her driver’s license and allegedly started to become unruly, slapping the face and kicking the leg of a police officer.
“Responding police officers noticed that the suspect was possibly intoxicated,” the statement from Imus CCPS said.
Alias Armie is now under the custody of Imus CCPS and is facing charges for reckless imprudence resulting in damage to property, driving without a license, driving under the influence of alcohol, and direct assault.
