PAGASA still warns of possible flash floods, landslides in parts of VisMin
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Wednesday, Feb. 7 advised the public to remain vigilant due to the possibility of flash floods or landslides in some areas of Visayas and Mindanao.

PAGASA said Davao Region, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Southern Leyte, and Bohol will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the easterlies, or the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean.
PAGASA said flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas in times of moderate to heavy rains.
Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon, locally known as "amihan," may bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains to Batanes.
In Metro Manila and the rest of the country, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may also be felt due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA also warned the public to be vigilant against flash floods or landslides that may occur during severe thunderstorms.
